As we embark on this week-long initiative,we will be carefully collecting all the water bottles that still contain leftover water from the checked-out rooms, so that we can reuse it for recycling, reused for irrigation or floor cleaning or other purposes. Each bottle holds within it a small amount of water, but when combined, they can make a significant impact. By pouring the accumulated water into a large container, we can see just how much water we are preserving for recycling.
As part of our commitment to sustainability during this special Sustainability Week, we are delighted to give away reusable water bottles to our esteemed Golf Members, valued Guests, and dedicated Staff. These eco-friendly bottles are not just a token of appreciation; they're a step towards reducing plastic waste and promoting a greener future.

Eco friendly in FS2 We promote connecting with the natural environment and being Eco friendly in FS2. The pupils in class are surrounded with natural materials including, twigs, wooden materials, natural loose parts, pebbles in the sand and wooden baskets. We have different coloured bins to separate the different recyclable material. The Eco FS2 assembly reinforced to the children how to use these bins as well as promoting other Eco-friendly ideas. In class we learnt about where paper comes from - the children know not to waste paper.
We had a brilliant time on our class trip to Hadiqaa Farm! We caught the bus bright and early and were eager to get started with our activities. The children learned all about different types of plants and how to care for them. They planted beautiful flowers to take home and use their knew knowledge to help them survive and thrive. They also planted fruit and vegetable seeds. We looked at different types of soil and discussed the importance of soil to plant survival.
We have been learning bout mini-beasts with a focus on bees and the important role that they play in our ecosystem. As a hook to our unit on bees, we made a delicious fruit salad made from fruits that are pollinated by bees. Did you know that if there were no bees we wouldn’t be able to have yummy fruits?
