Ebn Sina Medical's Sustainability Initiatives

  • Ebn Sina Medical sources cardboard and shipping containers made from recycled materials for medical packaging. In the past year, a systematic approach was implemented to facilitate reuse of these packaging materials within local storage and distribution operations, thereby reducing waste generation and fostering a more eco-friendly operation.
  • Ebn Sina Pharmacy use biodegradable bags across all of the pharmacies

Aamal Cement's Sustainability Initiatives

  • ACI has incorporated recycled materials within approved limits in its production process, contributing to resource conservation and waste reduction. By reusing materials, the company is advancing towards a more sustainable approach to manufacturing, aligning with global sustainability goals.
  • The installation of a water recycling plant on-site reflects ACI’s commitment to optimising water resource usage and reducing water consumption in its operations.

  • Aamal Readymix has installed a large-scale recycling facility to efficiently process all production waste, demonstrating Aamal Readymix’s commitment to reducing its environmental footprint. By recycling and reusing materials, the Company aims to minimise the impact of its operations on the environment.

    • In 2024, Aamal has hosted “Boutique from Qatar” exhibition at City Center Doha, featuring local suppliers and businesses, which aligns with the Company’s vision of promoting local procurement and supporting local businesses. 
    • In 2023, Aamal has witnessed the following results in terms of sustainability, compared to 2022:
      • 9% decrease in greenhouse gas emissions.
      • 8% decrease in energy consumption
      • 8% increase in recyclable waste
      • 11% increase in recycling of wastewater
