Clothing Donation Drive

talabat Qatar employees will come together to participate in a clothing donation drive at the office, contributing gently used items to support local communities in need.This initiative reflects the team’s strong sense of social responsibility and commitment to giving back to the community. At the end of Qatar Sustainability Week, the clothes will be delivered to one of talabat's charity partners, Qatar Charity's collection points.

In support of Qatar Sustainability Week, The Gate Mall is proud to contribute to the “Planting a Million Trees” initiative by distributing 300 plants, helping make Qatar greener, one tree at a time.

Reducing Cutlery Waste

As part of talabat's ongoing sustainability initiatives, the app actively encourages customers to reduce cutlery waste - displayed just before the checkout page - prompting users to opt out of receiving disposable cutlery and helping to minimize plastic usage.

This simple yet impactful feature reinforces talabat’s commitment to environmental responsibility by empowering customers to make greener choices with every order.

Encouraging Refillable Bottles

At the talabat office, all employees have been given out biodegradable, refillable bottles, and will be encouraged to use them throughout the entire week — reinforcing our dedication to reducing single-use plastic waste and promoting environmentally conscious habits in the workplace.This initiative reflects our collective responsibility towards a greener future and demonstrates how small, consistent actions can create meaningful environmental impact.

Paperless Campaign

The Gate Mall is going paperless!
Starting November 1, all parking ticket payments will be made digitally through our online portal.
