Plastic Recycling

Grade 3 students will be collecting empty plastic bottles and cans during the week of 5-9 November. Students will bring them in to school. At the end of the week, the collected items will be taken to the Al Meera nearby school to place into their recycling machine. The points/voucher received will be used to purchase something from AlMeera for Grade 3 students.

Green Spaces

We are actively promoting the integration of green spaces within our office premises, and we strongly encourage each of our employees to embrace this initiative by having a green plant. Not only do these plants enhance air quality, but they also foster a deeper connection to nature among our workforce.

Paperless Day

Construction Development Company is proudly joining Qatar Sustainability Week by dedicating November 4th as "Paperless Day." On this day, all printers in our offices and camps under CDC will be powered off, promoting a paperless work environment for the day. This initiative aligns with our commitment to reducing paper consumption and supporting sustainability efforts.

Green Somali Initiative

Our approach is holistic, community-driven, and sustainable. We work closely with local communities to identify their needs and develop programs that address those needs in a way that is both environmentally friendly and economically viable. We believe that this approach leads to long-lasting impact and a more prosperous future for all. We prioritize transparency, accountability, and collaboration. We are committed to being transparent about our activities and impact, and we work closely with donors, international development partners, and governments to achieve our goals.

Inspired by Nature

From the month of October and all the way through this academic year, we will be working with children and class leaders on learning how to care for plants they are growing from seeds, respecting pollinators such as bees, how to use nature in the classrooms, participating in composting and developing a sense of responsibility towards helping Mother Nature.
