At The Royal Riviera Hotel, we prioritize sustainability by utilizing recyclable printing paper and actively reducing our overall print volume. As part of our commitment to environmental responsibility, we're embarking on a special initiative during Sustainability Week: a designated "paperless day." This exercise will help us transition towards a more sustainable and eco-friendly practice.
To raise awareness and promote a sustainable environment, as well as engage both our guests and staff, we are considering a special one-hour event at the hotel. During this event, we will temporarily turn off the electricity throughout the entire premises. This will allow us to rely on the warm glow of candles for illumination.
The timing for this event, whether in the morning or evening, will be decided and announced in advance.
Social House will be running an 'Art competition and Talent show'.
Throughout Qatar Sustainability Week, we will actively reduce paper consumption in all our office operations.
Across kindergarten and primary grades, we will be celebrating sustainability week by planting, recycling/reusing plastic water bottles and paper, and having a morning of no technology or devices for an hour.
SUSTAINABILITY EXPO: SHAPING A GREENER FUTURE The final event for the week will be celebrated at the auditorium with a series of events such as display of eco-friendly swags created by our students and models along with the best performances of the competitions held followed by the Award Ceremony.
