As the world in general and our region in particular are facing economic difficulties CSR development is facing major challenges. The suggested workshop theme is: "CSR development in the Mideast today, mission impossible? The workshop shall include: 1. A brief history review of CSR 2. Overview of the CSR challenges within difficult economies. 3. Examples of countries approaches. 4. Workgroups shall be formed from the audience representing sample countries from the west, east, Mideast. ..etc. 5.

An interactive workshop introducing the concept of linking entrepreneurship and sustainability.

The Conference will address major issues and provide answers to some of the most significant challenges of environmental sustainability and promoting best practice for the built environment for Qatar, the Gulf region and beyond.

Sustainability is critical to the vision of Qatar International Golf Club and together with GEO (Golf Environmental Organization) the projects sustainability features center around enhancing nature, conserving resources and supporting local communities.

It is a kind of nutrition booth installed in Recreation Center building aiming to educate the QF community and their families on how to make healthy food choices. Nutrition Awareness is at the heart of good sustainable development. People will be invited to discover our nutrition tools and will be provided by a free body composition assessment in our nutrition clinic which is located in the same building. The event will take place on the 16th of November from 2 to 6 pm.

Paid - QAR 250 / person. his is a unique experience which combines adrenaline, relaxation, sight-seeing and community building activities. Our tour guides will pick up the guests from an agreed location in Doha and head straight to Sealine beach (on our way, the tour guides will pass by the fertilizers industries to show our guests a visualization of Qatar's fertilizer industry). We stop at the Sealine beach for an Arabic coffee and camel riding activity, after which, we head for dune bashing in 4x4s with trained drivers - a complete 3 hours adventure of dunes in 4x4s.

We will be taking visitors on a tour around the visitor center. Visitors will pass through five sections.They will see a video about water around the world. They will explore the technology used in water desalination in Qatar. They will learn about the water situation in Qatar. Also we will be talking about other technologies that are used in cleaning and producing water.

Paid Event - QAR 300 / person. A family friendly day-long activity where we depart from Doha to stop-over at Al Dosari Zoo and / or Sheikh Faisal's Museum. We then head to Umm Bab where the desert roses are found. Then we head towards a nearby farm to have lunch (outdoors). After which, we catch the sunset at Dukhan beach (swimming is allowed) and visualize the night-lights at the beautiful Camel Racing Track in Shahaniya.
