Jiwan Recyles Used Cooking Oil into Biodiesel

Jiwan renews its commitment towards upholding sustainability and renewable energy by upholding its practice of recycling used oil into biodiesel in collaboration with Green Brokerage for Oil (GBO) – Qatar. 

Improper disposal of used oil can have detrimental effects on the environment, causing soil and water contamination. However, through recycling, used oil can be transformed into a valuable resource for producing biodiesel and other renewable energy sources.

Jiwan's Zero Plastic Waste Policy

Jiwan is committed to zero plastic waste, using only biodegradable and recyclable packaging. By eliminating plastic, we reduce our environmental footprint and support a circular economy. Our focus on recyclable materials enhances resource efficiency and simplifies recycling for our customers. 

This commitment is renewed in support of Qatar Sustainability Week.

مبادرة شاملة لترشيد استهلاك المياه

تعتزم المدرسة تطبيق مبادرة شاملة لترشيد استهلاك المياه بالتعاون مع المجتمع المحلي. ستتضمن المبادرة حملات توعوية حول أهمية تقليل استهلاك المياه وحماية مصادر المياه من التلوث. كما سيتم عرض اختراعات طلاب المدرسة، التي تم تصميمها خصيصًا لتقليل استهلاك مياه الشرب ومنع تلوثها. من بين هذه الابتكارات أجهزة تعتمد على تقنيات حديثة لتنقية المياه وإعادة تدويرها. تهدف هذه المبادرة إلى تعزيز الوعي البيئي لدى المجتمع المحلي وغرس قيم الاستدامة والمسؤولية البيئية لدى الطلاب.
