Last year more than 20 tonnes of food were redistributed

Providing paper cups free of charge to all coffee shops at Gate Mall, featuring a message promoting sustainability to further spread awareness among the community.

As part of our commitment to sustainability and operational excellence, Elegancia Facilities Management (EFM), a subsidiary of Estithmar Holding, we organized multiple Energy Saving Awareness Sessions to educate our employees on the importance of responsible energy use. These sessions focused on practical ways to reduce consumption, aligning individual behaviors with the company’s broader sustainability goals.

FMM and Siemens joined forces to promote sustainable innovation in facility management through a strategic partnership that advances energy efficiency, smart infrastructure, and Qatar’s green transition.

At Wa’hab, we are happy to support QSW events by collecting surplus food and redistributing it to the community. We kindly request that the food is fit for consumption, stored at the correct temperature, and properly handled. Any necessary information regarding allergens or special handling must be notified. Our team will ensure timely collection and safe delivery to beneficiaries, helping reduce waste and reduce carbon emissions, while supporting the community. 

تنظم جامعة الدوحة للعلوم والتكنولوجيا حملة شاملة لتنظيف شاطئ الوكرة العام احتفاءً بأسبوع قطر للاستدامة، بالتعاون مع مركز أصدقاء البيئة وعدد من الشركاء الوطنيين. تهدف الحملة إلى رفع الوعي بأهمية حماية البيئة البحرية وتعزيز روح المسؤولية المجتمعية تجاه الحفاظ على النظم البيئية الساحلية. ويشارك في المبادرة طلاب الجامعة وأعضاء هيئة التدريس والموظفون، من خلال جمع النفايات والتوعية بالممارسات البيئية المستدامة، تأكيدًا لالتزام الجامعة بنشر ثقافة الاستدامة وتعزيز الوعي البيئي في المجتمع.

• All plastic bottles used for water distribution will be 100% recycled rPET bottles.
  This will save  ~79% emissions in closed loop bottle recycling system

   

LIC will be organizing a Mangrove Planting team building activity at the Al Thakira reserve , as part of our commitment to the environment.  This will be an exclusive LIC only event
