This year we will be focusing on cleaning up the unusual litter and debris found on the beaches of Qatar like broken glass, bottle caps, cigarette butts etc.
We will be involving our younger generation from different schools to emphasize waste segregation and proper waste disposal by educating them on the harmful effects of smoking and littering on the beaches.

In participation with Qatar Building Council’s Sustainability Week, Mosanada MOCS Project will launch a paper and plastic recycling campaign with a theme of “Recycle Today for Better Tomorrow” which will run from 27th October to 3rd November 2018.
_x000d_The recycling initiative aims to:
_x000d_The competition will involve engineering and architectural students, practicing professional engineers and interested members of the public to form teams and compete to construct the biggest and strongest paper structure dome. You will build your very own dome by taping together tubes made from rolled-up newspaper and then investigate your domes.
_x000d_For Qatar Sustainability Week we will Promote healthy lifestyle at office. Minimizing printing, usage of bottle waters and recycling where possible.
As part of the Warwick Hotel committment to a healthier lifestyle, on this day the staff cafeteria will be serving veggie buffet to the staff and Carisma the Italian Restaurant by serving veggie buffet to the staff and guests.
During this k-12 community event the school Eco-Council will be visibly present and collecting all plastic bottles and one-time use vendor plastic containers in a designated area. As the plastics pile up the images will kick start conversations about waste and the impact of our plastic footprint. PHd students from Hamid Bin Khalifa University will be collaborating and spreading word about “Life-Cycle Thinking” and the the Qatar Foundation newsroom will also be on hand to capture our eco stories.
Our event will be for our staff to talk about how to be an eco friendly cafe.
The purpose is to educate the whole team to work together and save our environment.
