Currently we are collecting used cooking oil for the production of bio diesel. Whenever new restaurants are opening in Qatar Our staff going to them and educate the importance of keeping the environment in a proper way. We are educating them about storing the Used Cooking Oil in a barrel we are providing and this oil we are sending to Europe for converting as bio diesel.
Les Roses Real Estate, OCS and Dragon Animal Care Center have joined forces to create a new educational and entertainment program to Les Roses tenants which will include various activities on different dates that will take place over the next months. These activities include but are not limited to :
1-Educational sessions to Les Roses compounds residents on how to deal with stray animals and how to control cat/dogs population
2-Enhancement of our ongoing TNR programs (Trap Neuter and Return) through education and demonstrations

Joining the global movement and IHG’s (InterContinental Hotels Group) initiative, InterContinental Doha The City will no longer be providing straws to guests. If requested, an alternate biodegradable option will be provided instead. This is a permanent initiative.
Tarsheed, the National Program for Conservation and Energy Efficiency run by Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa), is once again joining hands with Qatar Green Building Council. Tarsheed will be present in QNCC to showcase Energy Efficiency for a greener future in Qatar.
KEO will be challenging all staff from various divisions to bring in plastic from home throughout the week of October 27th to November 3rd. KEO will be using email flyers and posters to educate staff about the harmful effects of plastics production and improper disposal. Collection point will be set out across the KEO offices, at the end of the week the total plastic collected will be weighed and shared with the wider team. KEO is using this challenge to pilot a program for staff to bring in plastic from home throughout the year.
