Qatar Schools Debating League

QatarDebate holds secondary schools debate leagues spread out through two competitions - for boys and girls. The tournament invites students from Grade 10-12 from across Qatar. This coming Saturday, October 15, we hope to see 40 teams from boys' secondary schools across Qatar come together to discuss and debate pertinent issues in our society. As part of Earthna, we hope to include a topic on the Environment and have over 120 secondary students debate this very important issue.

Zero Emission Option

In partnership with a mobile scooter and e-bicycle company, The Avenue, A Murwab Hotel offers guests and employees the option to rent e-bikes and scooters as an alternative mode of transportation. Guests of the hotel will have access to manual vehicles on the premises. By promoting e-bicycle and scooter use rather than driving, pollution-emitting cars will be reduced. Additionally, biking and use of scooters will promote physical activity while traveling.

Maas Loop Glass Crusher Presentation

Reduce your costs of glass disposal up to 5 times and have empty bottles take up less space in your premises. Convenient, easy and stylish. The idea of Maas Loop was created on the basis of sustainable development, responsible business and proper design. Our goal was to create an easily accessible, easy-to-use, functional and aesthetic device that will allow the owners of catering establishments to crush the glass on their own, and thus significantly improve its recycling. For the benefit of business and the environment.

Gardening in the Metaverse

Gardening has many physical and psychological benefits that people in the Gulf don't have access to. Lack of space or time, harsh climate and infertile soil are some of the limitations that discourage many people from starting their own green space.

As more and more people are engaging in technology and the Metaverse becomes more popular, creating an educational virtual game could have a wide audience. It has been found that gamification increases engagement, so this audience would have more possibilities to take up gardening in real life.
