AlRayan Bank, in collaboration with S&P Global, is pleased to run an exclusive sustainability Forum bringing together industry leaders, and financial institutions to discuss advancing ESG integration and climate resilience in Qatar’s financial sector.

The event agenda:

We are organizing a sustainability event at The Curve Hotel in collaboration with Elite Company. They will provide us with recycled bins to be installed in each department for paper recycling.

As part of this initiative, we will engage our staff in a fun and creative competition: each department will decorate its recycling bin, and the most creative design will be selected as the winner!

This initiative will start on November 1st and will continue as part of our long-term recycling commitment at the hotel.

Mass TBT and Awareness Trainings
Large-scale Tool Box Talks (TBTs) and sustainability awareness sessions held across different project sites. These sessions educate teams about environmental best practices, health and safety, and sustainable resource management — ensuring every team member is part of the sustainability movement.

Paper Recycling Campaign (Including ‘No Printing Day’)
A focused effort to reduce paper waste across offices and project sites. Activities include setting up paper recycling points, encouraging double-sided printing, and observing a “No Printing Day” to promote digital alternatives and responsible consumption.

Housekeeping Campaign
An on-site cleanliness and organization drive aimed at maintaining a safe, hygienic, and sustainable work environment. Teams participate in cleaning, sorting, and proper waste segregation activities — reinforcing the message that sustainability begins with everyday workplace habits.

Tree Plantation Campaign
A hands-on environmental initiative where employees and volunteers come together to plant trees in and around project sites. This campaign not only enhances green cover but also raises awareness about biodiversity, carbon absorption, and the importance of nurturing our natural environment for future generations.

Green Pledge Day
A fun, unifying day where everyone wears green to symbolize their environmental commitment. Participants take one small, meaningful pledge — like avoiding single-use plastics or carpooling — to create a ripple of change across the community.

TED Talk: Sustainability Edition
A stage for passionate voices to share powerful, solution-driven ideas about sustainability, innovation, and environmental stewardship — in true TED Talk style. Inspiring, thought-provoking, and forward-looking.

Climate Change Storytelling / Podcast
An engaging platform for students or community members to share personal stories, interviews, or creative reflections on climate change. Recordings can be turned into short podcasts or social media clips to inspire others.
