Eco-driving workshop

On the 31stof October 2019 a sustainability event will be hosted at the DTPS site offices, to mark the Qatar Sustainability Week. The topic is Eco-driving.

Eco-driving or green driving is a series of actions you can take to become a more careful driver resulting in fewer emissions and less wasted fuel. Not to mention the money you’ll save at the pump. Studies show the average driver can reduce the fuel they use by up to 25 % by following the following guidelines of eco-driving.

Is low carbon transition possible in Qatar?

Climate change calls for radical solutions. The existing framework and vision are incapable of imagining and envisioning a new and bolder future that recognizes the limits to growth and at the same time, ensuring human well-being. The way we organize the economy and society, our interaction with natural systems must change and redefine prosperity and growth. Given our economic and societal dependence on fossil fuels, are we inextricably trapped into the fossil fuel system? Is there a way out of this quagmire?
