In alignment with Qatar Sustainability Week's goals, Banyan Tree Doha has introduced a Vegetarian Lunch initiative every Tuesday at our staff restaurant. This program aims to promote sustainability and eco-friendly practices while highlighting the importance of healthy eating for the environment.
City Centre Rotana planning to conduct No Bin Day in Colleagues Cafeteria to reduce the food waste and give awareness about the Sustainability practices and commitments. During the meals there will be signages and volunteers to monitor and explain the importance of this practice . This practice will be continued monthly once.
The Seminar highlights the hotel' s eco-friendly initiatives, including energy efficiency, water conservation, waste management, and sustainable sourcing. And also show how the hotel's existing sustainability practices and how it integrates these practices into daily operations and demonstrating City Centre Rotana's commitment to environment. A beach outing combined with a cleanup has been scheduled with colleagues to boost their wellbeing and environmental awareness of the team. Various entertainment activities are scheduled for the team members.
The students will be involved in construction of a green house within school. They will monitor it's well being and timely record any changes during the next three months. Alongside, they will be involved in research analysis of how we can conserve energy in Qatar to ensure sustainable lifestyle for future.

The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, is collaborating with Earthna, Centre for a Sustainable Future to organise an educational event for school children in the mangrove forest at Al Ruwais. This event is hosted by the Zulal Wellness team and will take place at their outstanding Resort. The outreach activity is part of the joint mangrove restoration project funded by MSC Foundation involving collaboratively the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, Earthna, and the Environmental Science Center, Qatar University.
