Green Heritage Solidarity

Throughout the week, students will be planting olives, oranges and other Palestinian plants and painting olive leaves and learning plant embroidery.

To support Palestinian solidarity, students explore how Palestinians were attacked for celebrating their natural biodiversity. Over 1 million olive trees were destroyed and Jafa orange trees too. Plants like Zaatar were controlled and Palestinians were forbidden to plant heirloom vegetables. The watermelon became a symbol of the Palestinian flag.

Lycée Bonaparte - Echo School - Waste Sorting Adventure - Learn, Play, Recycle

"Waste Sorting Adventure – Learn, Play, Recycle!"

A fun, creative, and educational activity designed to inspire children to care for the environment through hands-on experiences. Participants engage in interactive games, sorting challenges, and artistic recycling crafts, learning how to properly separate recyclables, compostables, and general waste.

The session also features a “Recycling Drums” workshop, where children create music using bins, bottles, and other reused materials — turning waste into rhythm! 🎶

CSR Week: Al Tamimi & Company

As part of our commitment to environmental sustainability, Al Tamimi & Company (Qatar) is fully committed to and engages several eco-conscious practises daily. We were one of the first law firms in Doha to secure the ISO14001 certification, reflecting our commitment to sustainability.  We maintain a consistent plastic recycling program in partnership with a local company, with bi-monthly collections to ensure responsible waste management. As a full-service law firm, it is routine to require printouts of documents especially for complex court cases or big commercial deals.

Responsible Recycling

  1. The QFCRA regularly recycles paper waste and yearly asks employees to donate old batteries for recycling.
  2. We ensure responsible disposal of electronic waste by selecting vendors that effectively repurpose or recycle obsolete IT materials.

New Office, New Initiatives

  1. Provided all employees personalised reusable water bottles and set up refilling stations to reduce usage of plastic water bottles.
  2. Provided reusable tableware in the pantries for employees to use instead of disposables.
  3. Encouraged employees to use the metro for their commute to work, and to carpool for external events.
  4. Donated cubicles, office furniture, and IT equipment from the old building to Qatar Charity’s Tayf programme.

Mangrove Deck Planting

Mangrove Deck Planting: A symbolic and impactful initiative to restore and protect our coastal ecosystem. Together, we contribute to cleaner air, healthier shorelines, and thriving biodiversity.

In celebration of Sustainability Week 2025, we unite under the theme “Together for a Sustainable Future” — a shared commitment to protect and nurture our environment.

Throughout the week, our family members and guests will take part in meaningful and hands-on activities designed to inspire action and awareness.

Recycled Fashion Show

"Trash to Treasure!" Our little stars will walk the runway wearing clothes made from things we usually throw away, like paper, plastic, and old boxes!

Our clever designers will turn recycle materials into fun, colorful outfits. You’ll see dresses made from newspaper, hats from cartons, and even robot costumes made from old cans and foil!

This show helps us learn how to take care of our Earth by reusing and recycling. It’s all about having fun, being creative, and helping the planet too!
