Alwadi Hotel Doha MGallery Collection is committed to contribute to a healthier planet. On the occasion of Qatar sustainability week, hotel's sustainability team organized an in depth training for all the employees to create awareness about suitability practices that are followed in the hotel i.e 

1) energy and water efficient measures in compliance with GAIA which measures the energy consumptions, green house gas emission and food waste.

Replacing plastic bags with eco-friendly paper bags to reduce plastic waste and promote sustainability. This simple change not only benefits the environment but also enhances the hotel’s eco-conscious image.

Organizing beach clean-up event to engage guests and staff in preserving local ecosystems. These initiatives not only enhance community relations but also promote environmental awareness and responsibility.

This year proposal date:  21st October 2024

Repetitive event every quarter in  2025.

Saving energy by using Building Management Systems (BMS) that optimize heating, cooling, and lighting. Lighting control systems and sensors automatically adjust or turn off lights when not needed, further reducing energy consumption.

Every Department 15 Min Training for Energy saving initiative 

Students will explore sustainability and creativity by using recycled materials to create unique artworks. This activity encourages students to think critically about waste, reusing everyday items, and how they can transform them into meaningful art pieces.

Facilities Management & Maintenance Company, honoring Qatar's Sustainability Week 2024,is pleased to announce Zero Print Day on the 3rd of October and will keep the prudent printing practice for the future.
