Alwadi Hotel Doha MGallery Collection is committed to contribute to a healthier planet. On the occasion of Qatar sustainability week, hotel's sustainability team organized an in depth training for all the employees to create awareness about suitability practices that are followed in the hotel i.e 

1) energy and water efficient measures in compliance with GAIA which measures the energy consumptions, green house gas emission and food waste.

2) efficient food waste management which consist of WINNOW solutions to measure and reduce food waste, and ENVAC recycling program by segregating bins on floor, paper, glass and plastic.

3) elimination of single used plastic eg: providing refillable dispensers for guest bathrooms.

Hotel also organized Candle Lit lunch in the staff cafeteria to empower energy saving initiatives where employees dined with only candle lights. Also our hotel is working on organizing beach clean up initiative in the following months to support the community.
