This week is Qatar Sustainability Week, a National Campaign which aims to engage the community in a wide range of sustainability-oriented activities, raising awareness among the wider community and showcasing the progress Qatar has made in the areas of sustainability.

Before, when I thought about sustainability, I, like most people, thought about the environment and recycling. With my next guest Dr. Sadriya Al-Kohji that perspective changed, as you will hear in this podcast.

Glow Yoga partners with Holiday Inn Doha The Business Park to create awareness of Fitness and Well being by teaching basic yoga moves to stretch out and limber up before starting day to day physical work.

The following initiatives were done in line with sustainability week in Qatar

1. Tree planting campaign

A tree planting campaign was designed to celebrate the anniversary by planting 40 trees in Qatar at elite places

The campaign is supported by “Earthna” and will be a part million tree campaign by the department of public parks

1. No printing week

During sustainability week there will be zero printing in the city office of SriLankan airlines Qatar

We have already migrated to e-tickets only many years back
