The Heritage Path Game

Created by our student Hassan Abdulrahman Al-Kaabi, volunteer member of the QAK Eco Club, Heritage Path is an educational board game that connects Qatari heritage with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in an engaging and interactive way. Players move across a heritage-inspired game board, encountering questions, challenges, and facts that blend cultural traditions with environmental and social values. The game encourages learning through play, promoting discussion about sustainability while celebrating Qatar’s identity.

Roots of Hope

Kenan, Karim, Essa, and Khalid, Members of the QAK Eco Club are transforming the open area between Building F clusters—where Grades 6 to 8 spend their breaks—into a vibrant, edible garden. The space will feature fast-growing herbs and edible plants cultivated for use by the school cafeteria, promoting a cycle of local production and responsible consumption. This initiative combines functionality, sustainability, and aesthetics while raising awareness of green practices within the school community.

💡 Lights-Off Hour (Daily)
Each day, the school will observe one hour with lights turned off to raise awareness about energy conservation and reducing electricity usage.

As part of our ongoing commitment to environmental awareness and sustainable living, the Sustainability Committee at Doha College is delighted to share our plans for Qatar Sustainability Week 2025. Throughout the week, our students, staff, and families will take part in a range of initiatives designed to inspire greener choices and celebrate our collective responsibility towards our planet.
