• Sustainable Sunday – Choose fresh sustainable produce from local farmers and markets to support the community.
• Meatless Monday – Kick off your week with a meal that is centered around plant-based ingredients.
• Transformative Tuesday – Focus on replacing negative habits with positive ones and increasing awareness of sustainable practices. 
• Wellness Wednesday – Engage in a Sound Healing session, an activity that enhances both physical and mental well-being.

To motivate individuals within the CMU-Q community to increase their physical activity by walking or running regularly. This initiative aims to promote an active lifestyle, improve overall health, reduce stress levels, and foster a sense of community engagement.

     A weeklong campaign with booths and building signages. There will be EcoCampus representatives to address any inquiries and conduct interactive sustainable activities.  

Sep 30: Formation of Green Action Task Force 

     The task force aims at implementing sustainable practices within the CMU-Q community to encourage eco-friendly practices, reduce carbon footprint, and promote environmental conservation.

Oct 02: Wellness Wednesday – Sound Healing 

     A group of staff and students will organize a wellness session through ‘sound healing’ to be attended by faculty, staff and students. 

Proper waste segregation in the store is fundamental and essential for achieving the Zero Waste objective.

Our goal: Minimize the store’s waste to the greatest extent possible.

Oct 03: EcoCampus General Sustainability Assembly

     In this assembly, the EcoCampus will present the program’s objective, mission & vision, organization structure, past and planned events, and membership invitation open to the whole CMU-Q community.

     To promote awareness on the current global issues on climate change and related sustainable challenges. 

After Using any L'Occitane product, a client can come back to the store with the empty package and receive a 25 QAR voucher that they can redeem upon purchase. ***

Empty bottles are picked up and processed and recycled for a cleaner environment.

The Tree Plantation in Crowne Village is an environmental initiative where employees of Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn Doha - The Business Park plant trees around their residence. It promotes environmental awareness, teamwork, and a greener living space while encouraging staff to actively participate in tree care and maintenance. This initiative fosters sustainability and enhances the quality of life for the employees.

The Community Garden behind Argulina is a sustainability initiative for employees at Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn Doha - The Business Park, encouraging them to grow their own herbs. This garden promotes teamwork, healthy living, and environmental awareness by allowing staff to actively participate in gardening and learn about sustainable agriculture. It also enhances the green spaces around the employee residence, creating a more eco-friendly environment
