Expo2023 Doha is the first A1 international horticultural exhibition to be held in the Middle East and North Africa region. it is organized by the state of Qatar under the Ministry of Municipality, and the collaboration of many ministries and governmental entities.
Expo 2023 Doha™ fundamental mission is sharing experience and solutions to improve the quality of life in cities through sustainable solutions and new technologies across horticulture and agriculture. The Expo will be held under the joint auspices of, the BIE (Bureau Internationale des Exposition) and the AIPH (The International Association of Horticultural Producers).
The theme for Expo 2023 Doha™ is "Green Desert, Better Environment" and the goal is to encourage, inspire and inform about innovative solutions and the reduction of desertification. It is a moment and a movement of awareness, a call to consciousness and change, it is a gathering of ideas and skills to grow a sustainable common future in a fruitful international cooperation.
Expo 2023 Doha™ will be the biggest event after FIFA 2022 and will attract the international community, including 80 countries, international organizations, private sector representatives, NGOs and the general public. All these participants will interact for 179 days starting October, 2023 till March, 2024 over an area of 1.7M SQM in “Al Bidaa Park”. More than 3 Million visits are expected to be exposed to a multifaceted event where ornamental gardens, diplomatic encounters, business meetings, public debates, conferences, artistic and culinary events and live shows are to take place.
