Qetaifan Projects – Sustainability Initiatives 2025

As part of Qetaifan Projects’ continuous commitment to sustainability, community engagement, and the United Nations Global Compact principles, the following initiatives highlight our key environmental, social, and awareness-driven actions that contribute to Qatar National Vision 2030 and support the goals of Qatar Sustainability Week 2025.

1. Mangrove Plantation Project – Qetaifan Island North

Qatari Businesswomen Association  will run A paperless day at work, no printing allowed.

As part of our commitment to protecting the environment and supporting Sustainability Week, all staff members of Sealine Beach Resort will come together for a special Beach Cleaning Activity.

This initiative aims to raise awareness about the importance of keeping our natural surroundings clean and to promote sustainable practices within our resort community. By joining hands and taking part in this meaningful activity, we contribute to preserving the beauty of our coastline and protecting marine life for future generations.

With our Green Key certification, we continue to champion eco-friendly practices and raise awareness internally among our guests, associates, and on social media, reflecting our genuine care for the planet in everything we do.

During the Youth Fest we will provide samples of the paperboard materials for anyone to use.

We already do stands for exhibitions and events to encourage a more sustainable environment 

Our Contract with DHL Express demonstrates the collaboration between our Planning and Merchandising Department and DHL’s GoGreen Services for sustainable logistics services

Printemps Doha actively integrates international sustainability standards into its operations. 

Guided by our Environmental Policy, we are implementing an Environmental Management System (EMS) aligned with global benchmarks. An EMS Committee, with cross-departmental representation, oversees monthly initiatives like beach clean-ups and awareness campaigns. 

FMM and Siemens joined forces to promote sustainable innovation in facility management through a strategic partnership that advances energy efficiency, smart infrastructure, and Qatar’s green transition.

Quest/Doha Oasis will conduct an awareness session for colleagues to promote reduced paper use, encourage paper reuse, and adopt the Mobaro software to eliminate paper usage.

• All plastic bottles used for water distribution will be 100% recycled rPET bottles.
  This will save  ~79% emissions in closed loop bottle recycling system
