This year’s Qatar Sustainability Week 2024, Nehmeh is proud to launch its theme "Act now for a greener tomorrow." These initiatives will run from Saturday, 28th September, 2024 to Thursday, 3rd October, 2024. During this week, we will have various activities that aim at contributing to Qatar Sustainability’s objectives in many simple ways. 

3R For Clean and Green: 

RECYCLE 

• Used cans and containers will be collected at all Nehmeh locations and Showrooms. 

• These cans and containers must be in medium to large sizes, to be recyclable into plant pots.

 • The collection will run from Saturday, 28th September, 2024 until Tuesday, 1st October, 2024. 

REUSE 

• The collectibles will be sent to the Head Office, Service Centre and Factory on Wednesday, 2nd October, 2024.

 • Brushes, paints, garden soil, and seeds will also be sent by HR to the Head Office, Service Centre and Factory on Wednesday, 2nd October, 2024.

 • The Sustainability Awareness Session (painting of collectibles and planting of seeds) will happen on Thursday, 3rd October, 2024 at the Head Office, Service Centre and Factory. 

REDUCE 

• On Thursday, 3rd October, 2024, the 2nd year of “1 Hour Without Power” event will be held. 

• From 1PM – 2PM, all the lights and ACs in the Nehmeh Head Office will be turned off except the Anton Commitment Hall. 

• The first 30 minutes will be spent for the lunch break, while the next 30 minutes will be spent for the Sustainability Awareness Session.
