We are committed to reducing water consumption through the use of advanced, water-efficient technologies. Automated sensors in faucets and showers help regulate water flow, ensuring minimal usage when not in direct use. Additionally, faucet aerators have been installed across the property, reducing water wastage without compromising on performance. These measures significantly lower water usage, contributing to both environmental preservation and operational efficiency.
ENERGY EFFICIENCY
Tracking and Monitoring Consumption
In alignment with Hilton’s Travel with Purpose sustainability initiatives, we use the LightStay Tracker to monitor and analyze our energy consumption on a monthly basis. This system ensures our usage is consistent with occupancy levels, and alerts our Engineering Team through the Building Management System (BMS) if consumption trends exceed expectations. In such cases, we immediately implement strategies to realign our usage to meet monthly and annual targets set by Hilton’s 2030 sustainability goals. As part of our future energy initiatives, we are planning to install photovoltaic (PV) solar panels in our parking areas to harness renewable energy, further supporting Qatar’s national sustainability objectives.
Optimizing Energy Use
We have implemented advanced motion sensors throughout the property to automatically switch off lights when areas are unoccupied. This not only improves energy efficiency but also reduces electricity costs. Additionally, our electronic devices, including TVs, monitors, computers, and printers, are set to sleep mode or programmed to power off after a set period of inactivity. All of our appliances and equipment are energy-efficient models, and we exclusively use LED lighting, which consumes less energy and has a longer lifespan.
Efficient Air Conditioning
Our air conditioning systems are programmed to maintain a comfortable and energy-efficient temperature range of 22–24°C in guest rooms and public areas. This balanced approach ensures both guest comfort and reduced energy consumption.
FOOD SUSTAINABILITY
Reducing Food Waste
Our hotel has implemented several initiatives to minimize food waste. In our team cafeteria, we have introduced "no bin days," encouraging staff to minimize wastage by being mindful of portion sizes and meal planning. Additionally, we employ a First In, First Out (FIFO) inventory system in our kitchens, ensuring that ingredients are used before they expire, thereby reducing the amount of food that goes to waste.

We encourage guests and team members to reduce carbon emissions and stay physically active by walking when possible, especially to nearby locations like Doha Sands. Conveniently located near metro stations, we also promote the use of public transportation for exploring the wider city. Our upcoming car rental program will feature energy-efficient vehicles, supporting both our guests' transportation needs and our commitment to environmental sustainability.

We adhere to a strict "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" policy for all types of waste, including paper, plastic, metal, and food. We have almost eliminated single-use plastics, including cutlery, cups, bags, packaging, and containers, and encourage thoughtful consumption with initiatives like "Think Twice Before You Print."

We prioritize indoor air quality by incorporating air purification systems within our ventilation network. Plants are placed throughout guest and employee areas to improve air quality and create a calming, biophilic atmosphere.
