The EcoCampus is one of the Foundation for Environmental Education programs. The EcoCampus is an award program that provides a framework to guide higher education institutions on their sustainable journey and model sustainability as an integral part of campus life while involving staff, teachers and the student body by empowering them to become forward thinkers and lead the way towards sustainable development. Click here to know about the program globally. Earthna is the National Operator for EcoCampus program in Qatar. Earthna works to maintain high standards and support the engaged universities through their positive actions to transform behavior in campuses and communities towards sustainability.
The program consists of three structural elements - The Seven Steps Framework, the EcoCampus Themes, and Assessment for the Green Flag.
Eco-schools program Application Process:
1.Fill The registration form.
2.Earthna team will contact for the following steps
3.Apply the EcoCampus’ seven steps
4.After two-three academic years, submit the application form with supporting documents. Earthna reviews the submission and assign a third- party assessor for the green flag.
5.The green flag is renewed every two years.
