As part of Qatar Sustainability Week, Earthna Center for a Sustainable Future, in collaboration with GHD, invites you to join us in exploring innovative approaches to water management through the development of a circular water economy. Earthna is leading efforts to reshape how we manage water in Qatar, focusing on sustainability and resource efficiency.
 
Discover the groundbreaking work being done with our pilot project in Education City and participate in a workshop to brainstorm solutions that will support a sustainable water future in Qatar.
 

This workshop will explore the evolving landscape of single-use PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) in Qatar, guided by Earthna's ongoing research. It aims to evaluate the current state of PET usage and investigate innovative approaches to advance a circular economy for this material. Earthna's comprehensive study focuses on analyzing the PET value chain, identifying circularity opportunities, and proposing strategies and policy recommendations to shift from a linear to a circular economy model, aligning with Qatar's sustainability goals.

Have you ever had to go about your daily life while your house was on fire? Probably not. As strange and absurd as it might seem, however, this is the situation that we find ourselves in today. Our home, the earth, is on fire, and we each have a duty to help save it from destruction. 

The growing adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) and ride-sharing services is transforming how we approach transportation and its environmental impact. Through this Social Media Awareness Campaign, we aim to shed light on our efforts to drastically reduce carbon emissions, decrease air pollution, and foster greener cities to encourage people to embrace environmentally friendly solutions.. We can collectively drive the change towards a cleaner, more eco-friendly future by making conscious choices in our daily commutes.

Collaborating with Georgetown University Sustainability Week.

Theme will be: Sustainable Waste Management and Recycling.

DivaLounge Spa will launch a campaign on our social media pages in the form Instagram Reels and Stories. The content will feature our sustainability practices as a spa where we educate the viewers on the reasons behind our practices and encourage others to take more of an initiative in taking the eco-friendlier route such as opting for a "waterless" manicure and pedicure, using biodegradable and reusable items in our services, etc. Our director will address why it is important for our brand to be sustainable and what future actions we will take to ensure that we uphold our values.

Replate leverages technologies to rescue surplus food from businesses, redistributing it to communities in need while reducing food waste and its environmental impact. 

Purpose: To combat food waste and food insecurity through innovative technology.

Vision: A world where no food goes to waste and every community has access to nutritious food.

This year’s Qatar Sustainability Week 2024, Nehmeh is proud to launch its theme "Act now for a greener tomorrow." These initiatives will run from Saturday, 28th September, 2024 to Thursday, 3rd October, 2024. During this week, we will have various activities that aim at contributing to Qatar Sustainability’s objectives in many simple ways.
