Qatar Museums' Sustainability Pledges

As part of Qatar Sustainability Week 2023, we're introducing "Sustainability Pledges" at QM. We're urging our employees to make personal commitments to sustainability, which may include endeavors like minimizing water usage, decreasing their reliance on single-use plastics,etc. This initiative is designed to empower our staff to take meaningful actions toward a more sustainable and environmentally responsible future.

Qatar Museums' Bike Commuting Challenge

Qatar Museums (QM) is promoting a more eco-friendly approach to commuting among its employees from October 25th to November 9th, 2023. We encourage our staff to choose bicycles as their mode of transportation to the office, with the goal of reducing carbon emissions. This initiative aims to foster environmentally conscious habits in daily life while also promoting personal well-being through a healthier commuting option.

Qatar Museums' Cultural Tour & Cleanup

Qatar Museums (QM) is organizing a cultural tour and cleanup as part of Qatar Sustainability Week 2023. The event seeks to enhance QM staff's appreciation for the cultural heritage of Qatar by taking them on guided tours of QM's archaeological sites. During these tours, experienced guides will provide insights into the history and legacy of Qatar. Additionally, a cleanup program will be conducted, where participants will work together to collect litter from QM's archaeological sites.

Qatar Museums' Sustainability Hackathon

Qatar Museums is hosting a sustainability-focused hackathon for employees, encouraging them to take part in devising inventive solutions to address local sustainability and environmental issues. Winners will be rewarded with enticing prizes. This initiative aims to foster sustainability awareness and assist QM staff in conceptualizing solutions for urgent environmental challenges.

Aspect and Impact Awareness Session

As part of Qatar Sustainability Week 2023, Lucky Star Alloys is taking a proactive step towards environmental awareness. We are organizing an engaging Aspect and Impact training session for our team members. This session aims to deepen our understanding of environmental considerations, fostering a culture of responsibility and sustainability within our organization.

World Radiology Day

The International Day of Radiology will take place on November 8 with the aim of building greater awareness of the value that radiology contributes to safe patient care and improving public understanding of the vital role radiologists and radiographers play in the healthcare continuum.

HMC will hold an Awareness Event to promote the seismic impact of radiology on medicine – earlier detection, fewer surgeries, and game-changing treatment outcomes.
