Georgetown University Qatar and The Earth Commons— Georgetown University’s Institute for Environment & Sustainability are hosting the “Sustaining the Oasis: Envisioning the Future of Water Security in the Gulf” conference under the Hiwaraat series.

The 'Future-Ready MSME Workshop' presents a strategic approach for businesses preparing to navigate upcoming challenges effectively. It's meticulously designed to empower enterprises with essential tools and knowledge, ensuring their ability to thrive amidst adversity.

People are encouraged to subscribe in the vegan challenge which is for 7 days (starting november 1 to the 7th). On each day a specific activity should be done related to veganism and they need to post it on their social media platforms for more engagement and to encourage other people to do so as well.

Amid worsening localized water scarcity, the potential to recover water from air and its capture on the ground is by far the most under-explored. Under pertinent conditions, cloud seeding could be used to enhance rainfall by dispersing substances into the air for cloud condensation, resulting in an increase in rainfall in the target area.
