At QAS, we foster a culture of sustainability by adopting various practices such as Recycling, Reusing, Reducing overconsumption, learning about food preservation and Agriculture, composting etc… We are proud to introduce our students as the most sustainable and environmentally aware future citizens of the world.

Sabira is a Doha based  pyrography and Woodsign lettering artist. The signs are made using reclaimed wood to keep it out of the landfill. I would like to conduct workshop on upcycling a reclaimed wood , during QSW for kids and adults . Workshop will focus on up-cycling the pallet wood to create home decor pieces for adults . For kids, wood cut into small different shapes and let’s paint and make their own toy.

من باب تعزيز قيمة الاستدامة وتوعية الطلاب فيها، تم تأسيس فكرة نادي الاستدامة لقسم العلوم لأهمية الاستدامة في البيئة وتطوير فكر الطلاب في الطرق الممكنة لتعزيز الاستدامة، وذلك من خلال حصة أنشطة أسبوعية يتم فيها عمل أنشطة مختلفة كل أسبوع تدعم فكر الاستدامة.

لمدة ٤ أسابيع تم عمل أنشطة مختلفة لتعزيز هذا المفهوم بمخرجات رائعة لأعمال الطلبة.
