To build on this further, we are hosting a session with the inspiring Aisha AlMaadeed, Founder, Greener Future.
On October 13, the students will be working on the “Green Wall” activity as a step to value the importance of sustainability. The students will be given time and the needed materials to work on all the stages of the activity and reach the final product. They will collect water bottles to use them for planting and building the wall. The students will be aware that this activity will create a culture of sustainability in the school, which will encourage everyone to save our planet.
A webinar activity that will focus on Mental Health at Work, and it will be scheduled in regular Tuesday Talk of the resort.
Staff will be encouraged to send their entry to show their creativeness in reusing and recycling waste materials and products. The activity will be a part of Zulal Olympics.
Staff are encouraged not to throw their unwanted clothes, books and other items that can be used by people who are in need of those items by collecting and donating to Qatar Charity.
Staff will be informed to prevent new printouts and not to generate more paper waste from their offices during the day.
Staff will be encouraged to participate in cleaning Al-Ruwais Beach area and will be a part of Zulal’s Olympics Activity where each team will compete with each other in how much waste they can collect in the whole week.
All secondary students are studying Sustainable Development Goals, investigating how they can promote change to bring about positive developments for our community in Qatar.
On Qatar Sustainability Week 2022 and as part of our commitment to protect and promote the health, safety, and well-being of our people, we will be hosting a session with Tina Balachandran, Founder and Clinical Director, Flourishing Minds Clinic.
