Awareness Activities

Students will be devising posters, leaflets and speeches to encourage awareness of the importance of recycling and reusing products.

ستقوم وزارة المواصلات خلال فترة أسبوع الاستدامة الممتد من (4 إلى 11 نوفمبر 2023) بالعمل على نشر التوعية (من خلال منصة التواصل الاجتماعي للوزارة) بشأن وسائط النقل الصديقة للبيئة ومرافق البنية التحتية الخاصة بها، باستخدام الوسم الخاص بأسبوع الاستدامة، إضافة إلى دعم أنشطة أسبوع الاستدامة ذات الصلة بالنقل المستدام والصديق للبيئة عبر إعادة النشر عبر منصات وزارة المواصلات. بالإضافة إلى عرض المنشورات على الشاشات المتواجدة في مبنى الوزارة والموزعة في قاعة الاستقبال والطوابق الداخلية.

خلال أسبوع "استدامتنا حياتنا" الذي سيتم تنفيذه في أكاديمية قطر لتدريب المربيات خلال الفترة من 5 إلى 9 نوفمبر 2023، ستتم عملية تفعيل مجموعة من الأنشطة والفعاليات والمحاضرات التي تهدف إلى نشر التوعية والثقافة بمفهوم الاستدامة على مختلف الجوانب. تشمل هذه المبادرات:

1. الرعاية والاهتمام بالرفاه والصحة العقلية والجسدية للأفراد.

2. تعزيز التغذية السليمة للأطفال الرضع.

3. استخدام إعادة التدوير واستفادة من الموارد بغية إنتاج الألعاب الشعبية القطرية.

4. تنفيذ مبادرة "أسبوع بلا ورق

Carrefour Qatar, in collaboration with CCI France Qatar and the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, is proud to present the Mangrove Conservation Initiative. This initiative serves as a community-focused effort to raise awareness about the importance of mangrove conservation and its vital role in safeguarding our coastal environment. Join us for an enlightening session on the significance of mangroves and their impact on the coastal ecosystem, and gain valuable training on the proper techniques for planting and replanting mangroves.

We're hosting an event where our team can engage in meaningful conversations and share their insights on sustainability. Our primary goal is to educate and unite the entire staff, fostering a collective commitment to environmental preservation. We aim to inspire and empower them to embrace sustainable practices within the hotel, emphasizing resource conservation and a reduction in our ecological footprint. Our focus is on minimizing environmental impact, cutting operational costs, and ensuring the responsible use of natural resources.

In our meeting room, we have installed an active panel interactive display, which eliminates the use of paper flip boards and projectors. This step will enhance in reducing the paper waste throughout the year for the meeting room. Let us all save trees, protect the environment, and do our part for the planet with the resources available to us.

Let's unite to redesign our future and create a greener tomorrow!

Get ready to take a stand against single-use plastics with our "Ditch the Disposables: Plastic Awareness Challenge." In this engaging initiative, children will discover the harmful effects of single-use plastics and actively work to reduce their impact on our environment, where children will embark on a journey to learn about the vital role of plastic reuse and recycling in preserving our planet's precious nature and biodiversity. In this engaging competition, kids will collect and repurpose plastic bottles and bottle caps, turning waste into art and knowledge!
