The EcoCampus team, in collaboration with the Facilities Management team, will conduct a workshop with the custodial team about proper recycling and waste management.
To support Qatar Sustainability Week, Microsoft employees in Qatar are conducting an awareness event at Oxygen Park, Education City. This initiative aims to promote personal wellbeing and a greater appreciation for nature and sustainability.
Employees will engage in activities like running and jogging within the park, emphasizing physical health and the beauty of green spaces. The event will demonstrate how sustainability practices help preserve such areas.
Microsoft Qatar is arranging a visit to the Hamad Port Visitor Center and Aquarium as an awareness activity to highlight the importance of sea wildlife and the ecosystems of sea creatures, and their impact on Qatar.

The SDGs 2030 Japanese Simulation Game is a tool used to promote understanding and engagement with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly within educational or corporate settings. These goals, established in 2015, outline 17 targets aimed at addressing global challenges like poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, and peace by 2030
The Business Park Sustainability Tour at Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn Doha - The Business Park highlights the hotel' s eco-friendly initiatives, including energy efficiency, water conservation, waste management, and sustainable sourcing. Guests are guided through green building features and shown how the hotel integrates these practices into daily operations. The tour also emphasizes employee engagement and training, demonstrating the hotel' s commitment to environmental sustainability.
This closed workshop will focus on the integration of sustainability throughout the MPSO project's development. The workshop will explore key sustainability aspects, including energy efficiency, water management, climate resilience, and environmental impact mitigation, highlighting Mott MacDonald's commitment to sustainable engineering. The event will emphasize how our Project align with Qatar’s National Vision 2030 and contribute to long-term environmental and operational sustainability.

A cake-cutting ceremony recognized eco-friendly initiatives, followed by a Green Menu Lunch featuring sustainable, locally sourced ingredients. The event highlighted the hotels' commitment to environmental responsibility.
