Nammude AdukkalaThottam Doha (Our Kitchen Garden Doha) would like to introduce ourselves as an organization which is affiliated under the Indian Cultural Centre under the aegis of Embassy of India. Our objective is to promote and create awareness about organic farming among the community in the State of Qatar. We were conducting our farming activities in Al Dosari Zoo& Game Reserve including paddy cultivation in Qatar, apart from the home farming activities among members. We are conducting many events including Agriculture seminar, Harvest Festival, Best farmer awards, Sapling distribution to schools etc. Testimonials of our activities have come in the Local & Indian Medias.

We are supporting in producing Organic vegetables and creating green environment in our members home by providing free seeds and Saplings. Our goal is to reduce Carbon footprint and create a sustainable environment and self-dependency on organic vegetables.

NAD is organizing an event named “NAD YOUNG FARMER CONTEST” aimed to promote and reward young farmers in School level from Class 5 to 9 schooling in Qatar. As part of this programme, NAD provided free saplings (4 types), essential nutrients and growing medium kit (5 items in kit), and guidance to the contestants. The winners of this contest shall be honored with awards and gifts.

We have scheduled to conduct a SEMINAR ON SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE on 29/10/2021 at 4.30 pm to the public and the contestants of NAD Young Farmer Contest via Zoom.
