As part of Qatar Foundation’s Health, Safety, and Environment Directorate’s efforts to promote a sustainable lifestyle and ensure the safe disposal of electronic waste, we are pleased to announce that the annual E-waste recycling drive will take place from October to December 2024.

Collection Bins and Locations: E-waste collection bins will be conveniently located at the following sites across Education City:

• Multaqa (Education City Student Center)
• Humanitarium (Georgetown University in Qatar)
• Lulu Express (QF housing lot)
• Qatar Academy Doha Primary School
• Qatar Academy Doha Senior School
• Qatar Science & Technology Park
• Qatar National Library

Accepted Items:

• Desktop computers, laptops, and monitors
• Printer/copier toners and cartridges
• Televisions
• Scanners and printers
• Audiovisual equipment
• Personal electronics devices- kitchen gadets, home gadets 
• Mobile phones and landline phones
• Microwaves

Non-Acceptable Items:

• Air conditioners
• Refrigerators
• Washing machines
• Fluorescent lamps

Additional Instructions:

• Larger e-waste items should be dropped off at the bins in Lulu Express or Multaqa.
