
Shaikha Al-Marri is a distinguished leader with expertise in international relations, public policy, and strategic communication.
She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Virginia Commonwealth University at Qatar Foundation, an MSc in International Public Policy from Queen Mary University of London, and a certificate from the Leadership Program at HEC Paris.
Currently, she serves as a Digital Business Analysis Researcher at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
As the Deputy Director of the GCC Programme at the International Institute for Middle East and Balkan Studies (IFIMES), Shaikha focuses on promoting international cooperation and policy development within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.
Throughout her career, she has held significant positions, including Youth Advisor to the Minister of Sports and Youth in Qatar.
Notably, she achieved a significant milestone as the first Qatari woman to join the Politics and Press Department of the European Union Delegation to Qatar, significantly advancing youth engagement in public policy and international diplomacy.
