Margot Drayson is the Network and Projects Manager at INTBAU, a global network of professionals dedicated to creating better places to live through traditional building, architecture, and urbanism.

As part of the international secretariat based in London, Margot is a key point of contact for INTBAU's 40+ chapters. She seeks ways to expand and develop the network and also helps plan and deliver programmes and initiatives across INTBAU's four strands of activity - research, advocacy, grassroots, and education.

Margot has several years of professional experience in cultural management, having worked in both non-profit and commercial sectors in Europe and the USA. She earned a Master of Arts at the Royal College of Art and the Victoria and Albert Museum, where her research explored the ecological and sustainable aspects of traditional and innovative silk farming practices in Italy at the start of the 21st century.

Margot's passion for architecture and material culture started in her teens. She pursued a summer programme in architecture at Cornell University where she discovered a love for research, history, and theory. She is particularly grateful to INTBAU for increasing her awareness of the role that architecture can play in all aspects of life.
