Assistant Professor of Urban Planning

 Dr. Sultana Al-Nabet is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture at Qatar University. 

Her expertise in urban planning and architectural studies is underpinned by a PhD in Architecture, Building and Planning from the University of Melbourne, and a Master of Science in Urban and Regional Planning (with RTPI accreditation) from the University of Birmingham. Her academic foundation also includes a Bachelor of Arts in Geography/Urban Planning from Qatar University.

 Dr. Al-Nabet possesses practical insights into urban development through a secondment at the Urban Planning Affairs Assistant Undersecretary Office, alongside previous training with the Ministry of Urban Planning and Municipalities. These experiences complement her academic work, which includes teaching architectural history and theory, and researching urban resilience and heritage preservation.
