
Professor Lee Howell is an accomplished executive and educator with a global, multi-faceted professional background that included producing the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting in Davos (2009-2021) and creating the Villars Institute, a Swiss non-profit foundation promoting intergenerational collaboration and systems leadership in 2022.
Driven by a passion for empowering young people to lead systemic change, Lee works with
experts, educators, entrepreneurs, artists, and philanthropists to accelerate the transition to a Nature Positive and Net Zero economy. In this regard, he is also a Titular Professor at the University of Geneva and a Senior Lecturer at the University of St. Gallen where he teaches undergraduate, graduate, and executive about Disruptive Technologies, Systems Leadership, and the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Lee is also committed to improving the future of international education, food systems, and planetary health and serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Governors of the International Baccalaureate (IB), board member of the EAT Foundation, and advisory board member of the Frontiers Planet Prize.
