‌The Mangrove ecosystems are critically important as they provide highly effective carbon sinks, biodiversity hubs, community livelihoods and economic benefits and coastal protection providing nature-based solutions to climate adaptation to rising sea levels and soil erosion.

Yet, over 35% of the world’s mangroves has been lost…

Earthna has a strong focus on mangroves via a collaboration with the MSC Foundation, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MOECC) and Qatar University (QU), to restore and protect mangroves in Qatar and provide pivotal research; and is connected globally through the Global Mangroves Alliance and IUCN.

Join us at the Earthna Village and enjoy a wonderful experience of the Qatar Mangroves.
