Midmac & TAV JV is dedicated to achieving operational excellence in waste management, thereby bolstering its environmental sustainability initiatives. By actively encouraging waste reduction and recycling efforts, along with the strategic conservation of resources, we strive to lessen the environmental footprint of our site office operations. This commitment to sustainability is exemplified through several key features:

Waste Management at construction site: We have strategically positioned waste collection and recycling bins, cages, skips, throughout the site. Our fully trained housekeeping team rigorously follows waste collection and segregation protocols. This effective strategy for waste segregation and recycling has led to a reduction in landfill waste and improved construction waste management during construction stage ensure more than 80% of waste is diverted away from landfills.

In conjunction with Qatar Sustainability Week, we are pleased to offer office staff the opportunity to contribute by participating in recycling initiatives. We will be setting up designated collection points for wastepaper/cardboard, plastics, and electronic waste within the office premises from September 29, 2024, to October 1, 2024. We encourage all staff members to engage in this effort and to adopt recycling as a regular practice in their daily lives.
