Earthna and QEERI are hosting a workshop on sustainable road passenger transport pathways in Qatar, focusing on EVs. The workshop will gather stakeholders from Qatar's road passenger transport ecosystem, including government, industry, and academia. The workshop will foster discussion of policy drivers and barriers to the penetration of EVs in road passenger transport in Qatar, identify policy development needs and major gaps in the evidence necessary to support it. Discussion will include the economic, environmental, and behavioral dimensions of the policy problem. The workshop aims to significantly advance the policy discourse in this area and provide the participants with a better understanding of the policy development needs and Earthna and QEERI with a clear research agenda to inform the policy process.
