Join us at the Library for a festival full of fun and discovery, as we celebrate the Qatar-Indonesia 2023 Year of Culture!
In collaboration with Earthna, we are organizing an interactive event for families including children aged 6 and above, to learn more about mangrove forests, their ecology and role in reducing coastal pollution.
This unique event will feature an interactive session, led by Dr. Aspassia D. Chatziefthimiou, a pioneer of desert ecosystems who will speak about mangroves in Qatar. Followed by Dr. Charlie Heatubun, an expert in biodiversity and conservation, who will shine light on mangroves in Indonesia.
At the end of the session, participants will have the opportunity to take part in an exclusive site visit to explore the mangroves in AlKhour.
Attendees have the flexibility to participate in either the lecture or the tour, or opt for both, as these are distinct events.
Our tour is limited to a maximum of 25 people.
Transportation will be provided on a first come first serve basis.
