As part of our educational engagement focus within our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) framework, Nakilat has partnered with Qatar Green Building Council (QGBC) and Qatar University (QU) to organize a ‘Nakilat Sustainability Case Study’ for business undergraduates at the QU College of Business and Economics, majoring in Marketing and Organizational Behavior. The objective of this collaboration is not only to raise their awareness on the importance of sustainability to organizations so that they are well-equipped for their future careers, but also to create awareness for the shipping and maritime industry in Qatar amongst the students, so that there is sustainable interest in the industry for generations to come. This is aligned with the aspirations detailed in Qatar National Vision 2030, which outlines the creation so a sustainable workforce.
