Qetaifan Projects is a real estate development company owned by Katara Hospitality and is developing a futuristic tourist hub in Qetaifan Island North. Sustainable development is at the core of the vision and mission of the entire development and how we visualise future real estate. Qetaifan Projects award-winning design has been recognised globally for its sustainable initiative as part of its design at the masterplan and asset levels.

Qetaifan Projects Phase I has achieved progress of around 60%. Looking into the coming year, we expect to receive lots of material along with packaging waste. Therefore, we have initiated a number of programs and set targets to better manage the upcoming Paper, cardboard and plastic waste from the site. It’s in line with our commitment to Environment and global SDG.

During the Sustainability Week at Qetaifan Projects, a number of awareness campaigns will be arranged and headed by Qetaifan Projects. This includes a drive for tree plantation, beach clean-up, housekeeping on-site, awareness session and Oct 26, 2021, will be Paperless Day (no printing will be done). We will set stringent targets to reduce the use of Paper and ensure the Paper and cardboards are recycled on-site.
