“The Wilderness Book”, by ecologist Dr. Aspa D. Chatziefthimiou, with photographs by wildlife photographer and naturalist Raviv Cohen and design by artist Jenine Davidson, is a 360º pictorial journey across the natural ecosystems and wildlife in the Qatari desert and surrounding waters; the first of its kind. “The Wilderness Book” will intrigue neophytes to explore the desert, and it will serve as a guide-book to scientists, new to this field, requiring up-to-date robust scientific research findings.
