In participation in this year's Qatar Sustainability Week 2022, Regus D-Ring Business Centre with Hamad Blood Donor Centre organized a one-day blood donation drive to raise awareness of the health benefits of bloodletting and its importance in helping initiate a healthy and sustainable community.   

If you are interested in being a blood donor, please read the donor eligibility below:  

• All Volunteer Donors should have an Original Qatar Id Card, Health Card, or Driving License.
• All Donors should have Enough sleep for at least 6 hours.
• Should have healthy food before donation.
• Anyone interested in donating should be under the age limit of 18- 65 yrs.
• The donors should be at least 50 kgs. 
• Donors should not be under any medication drugs or any treatment, if so, they should specify the type of medication and it should be confirmed and checked their eligibility before the campaign.
• If any donor has recently had underwent a Hijama procedure or is Tattooed they have to wait 3 months to donate blood.
• Any vaccinated donors shall donate after 24hrs of vaccination if he/ she is free of symptoms (flu, fever, etc.).
• Symptomatic individuals, having a positive result of COVID-19, or who have been exposed to someone with, or with the potential to have COVID-19 are asked to refrain for at least 14 days after symptoms have subsided, they shall donate blood. 
• And other questions will be taken care of by Hamad Blood Donation Centre team professional nurses during the campaign.
